Lojo Russo’s been making music along the “Big Muddy” since her days in the Twin Cities playing in jam, Celtic, and folk-rock bands to her current home in the Quad Cities as a solo touring artist.

Lojo Russo has a musical style that’s as varied and unexpected as the river she calls home. From her days growing up in MN to her current home in Iowa, the Mississippi River has been part of her world and her music. One moment she’s laying down a furious rhythm on the guitar punctuated with a wailing vocal and the next we’re floating along carried by intricate fingerpicking, her voice as intense and haunting as her lyrics.
