Women’s Suffrage Posters on Display at Graham Library

A view of a poster titled "The Woman Voter and the Next President of the United States."

A series of posters available for viewing in the Graham Library explores the women's suffrage movement in the U.S.

Thanks to a program from the Smithsonian American Women’s History Initiative, Coffeyville Community College students and the community can explore the centennial of women’s suffrage in the U.S.

Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence is an exploration of the women’s suffrage movement and its relevance to Americans’ lives today.  The ten teaching posters will be on display in the Russell H. Graham Library for the rest of the fall semester.

The Graham Library is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
