Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning

HVAC is a program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, install, service and maintain the operating condition of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Includes instruction in diagnostic techniques, the use of testing equipment and the principles of mechanics, electricity, and electronics as they relate to the repair of heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

The CCC HVAC program provides comprehensive training on the principles, installation, maintenance, and repair of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, covering topics like system components, electrical wiring, refrigerant handling, troubleshooting, and safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on hands-on practice to prepare students for a career as an HVAC technician.   

The HVAC field offers a diverse range of jobs, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with specialized roles like refrigeration technicians, HVAC engineers, project managers, service technicians, and even positions in sales and customer service, allowing for varied career paths depending on your skillset and interests.
