CCC Welcomes Nearly 200 Future Red Ravens at Senior Day

Nearly 200 high school students learned more about CCC during Junior/Senior Day on Nov. 10.

Nearly 200 Juniors and Seniors from 25 different school districts spent some time exploring the opportunities at Coffeyville Community College on Thursday, November 10.  The day began in the Spencer/Rounds Theatre with a pep rally and introduction of the programs and activities offered at CCC.

Students were then divided into groups and provided a tour of the main campus, lunch in the cafeteria, and one-on-one experiential learning time with various activity and program directors in the Gilmer K. Nellis Hall.

“Recruiting and retention is a primary focus of the institution.  Our recruiter, Chris Cameron, and our activity/program directors have been on the road for much of the Fall semester spreading the word about CCC. Today, we were able to see the fruits of their efforts with students coming from as far away as Champagne, Ill. to learn more about Coffeyville Community College,” said Yvonne Hull, Sr. Director of College Relations, Marketing and Recruitment.  “We look forward to working with the students that participated in this event and are excited to welcome all future Red Ravens.”
