Jan Seides

Award-winning singer/songwriter and entertainer Jan Seides will awaken your favorite musical memories and have you tapping your foot and singing along. Jan's show, "The Golden Age of Broadway," features delightful, dazzling music, meaningful lyrics, evoking exotic scenes, spectacular dancers and memorable characters—these are the reasons most of the shows ran for years and years, performance after performance! Jan will take you back to the glorious days of The Golden Age of Broadway with songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lerner and Loewe, Cole Porter, Frank Loesser, Bernstein and Sondheim, Jerome Kern, Adler and Ross and so many more.

Jan performs songs from Oklahoma, South Pacific, Carousel, Brigadoon, Kiss Me Kate, Guys and Dolls, Music Man, West Side Story, Can Can, Kismet, The King and I, Pajama Game, Damn Yankees, My Fair Lady, Camelot and many others. The "Golden Age of Broadway" will also reveal the stories and histories behind the songs and shows.

Jan will perform at the Coffeyville Community College Spencer/Rounds Performing Arts Theatre at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5th, as part of the CCC Humanities Project. The performance is free and open to the public.
