His hobbies include bicycling, kayaking, handcrafting, banjo and ukulele restoration, performer coaching, travel, and listening to audiobooks.

Reid's expertise is in finding, crafting, and telling stories.  His fascination is the stories of prominent figures in life and the world in which they life or lived, especially when he feels a kinship with them.  Being of Scottish ancestry, examples include Robert Burns (bard/poet), Robert the Bruce-King of Scotland, Mary-Queen of Scots, William Wallace (Braveheart), J M Barrie - creator of Peter Pan, Sean Connery, Ewan MacGregor, Sheena Easton, and Shrek.
