ABOUT CAROL: Across the U.S. to the far north of Alaska and beyond, audiences have been captivated by Carol Markstrom’s vocals and the storytelling quality of her lyrics that transport to other places, times, and people. Carol’s songs tap into Western, Folk, Country, and Americana. Her ballads and love songs range from whimsical to bittersweet, and the beauty of Western landscapes inspires some of her songwriting. Some of her songs tell of Native American cultures and “Medicine Bottle” is on the soundtrack of a 2019 documentary titled “The Indian System.” Carol also enjoys performing crowd favorites delivering them with a fresh approach.
