Fran Stallings is a lifelong storyteller who has enchanted audiences with her distinctive voice and music for decades. A recovering biology professor, she specializes in stories of the plants and animals with whom we share this planet, conveying timeless lessons of understanding and respect for living things. Her Appalachian autoharp accompanies traditional and original songs with audience participation. 

Dr. Stallings is the recipient of two National Storytelling Network ORACLE awards. She writes articles, produces CDs of stories and songs, and has published award-winning books of stories. Based in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, she performs and teaches across the US and overseas.
