*Full-time is based on 24 credit hours, part-time is based on 12 credit hours.

**Contiguous Missouri and Oklahoma counties:
Oklahoma counties include: Nowata, Washington, Ottawa, Craig, Osage and Rogers.
Missouri counties include: McDonald, Newton, Jasper, Barton and Vernon.

***Shop fee includes one pair of safety glasses, earplugs and some materials.

Texts not required but may be purchased through the College Book Store. If you have any questions on the final cost, or want to check on used book availability, the number is 252-7555. Books must be purchased separately.

Tool List

Below is a list of tools required for the program. The location of purchase and quality of items will affect the price estimated above:

  • Protective clothing fire retardant cotton sleeves, or
  • Can be leather cape, sleeves, and bib.
  • Safety glasses (one pair issued)
  • Welding helmet
  • Welding cap
  • 2 pair welding gloves, heavy and thin
  • Boots - Leather
  • One Shade lens either #10, 11, 12
  • Chipping Hammer
  • Combination, side-cutting pliers
  • “Cutting” goggles or glasses
  • Wire Brush

Graduation Fee

Students completing the program will have a fee of $45.00.

 

All of the above costs are subject to change. Please verify costs at the time of enrollment.

All students must sign an insurance waiver before they will be allowed on the shop floor.

Safety equipment must be worn at all times per program requirements.
