CCC President’s Message

3/20/2020

It is officially Spring Break for Coffeyville Community College!  The College Campus will be closed to the public for the next two weeks (through April 6th) as we monitor the COVID-19 situation.

Beginning March 30th, students will complete their classes in an online environment.  Due to increasing cases of the virus in our region, we will restrict students from attending classes face-to-face after Spring Break.  Students need to communicate with their course instructors via their student email address for instructions and/or assistance.

Students will be encouraged to utilize the online Off-Campus Student Support tab on the CCC website. This link will provide you with information and assistance with Moodle, College Email, Raven Access, or a tutor.

Students attending at the Coffeyville or Columbus Technical Campus will tentatively resume face-to-face classroom instruction on Monday, April 13th.  Some programs will move to an online format for course lectures and testing.  Programs moving to an online format and/or clinical experiences may be rescheduled as available after March 30th.
The Spring 2020 semester may be extended to accommodate the completion of hands on, clinical, and/or internship requirements.

Instructors will communicate with students through a student’s coffeyville.edu email address, [email protected]  Students can access their email at the CCC website at this link

CCC has moved the last day to withdraw from a class to April 24th.  The date to enroll for the summer and fall semesters has also been changed to Monday, April 27th.

Have a Great Spring Break!

Sincerely,

Dr. Thornburg
