CCC President’s Message

3/31/2020

Coffeyville Community College successfully restarted classes in a virtual environment on Monday, March 30th.  Early reports suggest students are excited to be back in classes virtually with a few minor technology challenges.  Students who are experiencing connectivity issues need to email their instructors for assistance through their CCC email.

With the new executive order from the Kansas Governor, the CCC Campuses are now closed to the public indefinitely as we monitor the COVID-19 situation.  All technical campus face-to-face classes are suspended indefinitely as well.  Some programs moved to an online format for course lectures and testing.  Please continue to communicate with your course instructors for guidance on your specific program.  As previously noted the Spring 2020 semester may be extended to accommodate the completion of hands on, clinical, and/or internship requirements.

We continue to encourage students to utilize the online Off-Campus Student Support page on the CCC website. This link will provide you with information and assistance with Moodle, College Email, Raven Access, or a tutor.

Again some key dates to remember are the last day to drop spring classes (April 24th) and the Summer/Fall enrollment start date of April 27th.  Reminders will be sent to student email addresses later in April.

With the continuing uncertainty, CCC has made the decision to cancel the annual Scholarship Endowment Auction and the Spring Graduation Ceremony at this time.  We will continue to update our students and community as this ever changing situation evolves in our region.

Stay safe,

Dr. Thornburg
