  2. Complete the Loan Entrance Counseling. Entrance Counseling must be completed from www.studentaid.gov site as well.
  3. After completing the first 2 online processes, (MPN and Entrance Counseling) go to Red Connect and accept your loans.

Annual Student Loan Acknowledgment

All Direct Loan borrowers (subsidized, unsubsidized, and parent PLUS) will be required to complete the Annual Student Loan Acknowledgment (ASLA) before receiving the first disbursement on the first Direct Loan that the student or parent borrows for each new award year. The ASLA requires student and parent borrowers to view how much they currently owe in federal student loans, and to acknowledge that they have seen these amounts, before borrowing new loans each award year.  The ASLA requirement is in addition to Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note. Borrowers can log into their student aid account at www.studentaid.gov with their FSA ID and password to complete this Annual Student Aid Acknowledgement.

Loan Exit Counseling

Students who graduate from CCC, transfer to another institution, or drop below 6 credit hours must complete the Exit Counseling available on the www.studentaid.gov site as well.
