Financial Aid Eligibility
Your eligibility for financial aid is determined by comparing the total cost of attending Coffeyville Community College with your Student Aid Index (SAI). Most of the financial information used to calculate your SAI is transferred directly from the IRS into your FAFSA, as long as you provide your consent and approval. Financial aid is intended to supplement—not replace—your other resources when paying for college.
How Financial Need is Calculated
Your financial need is the difference between the total cost of attendance and your SAI.
The cost of attendance includes:
- Tuition and fees
- Housing and meals
- Books and supplies
- Personal expenses
- Allowable travel expenses
Maintaining Financial Aid Eligibility
To continue receiving financial aid, you must:
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress toward your degree
- Submit all required applications accurately and on time
- Not be in default on a student loan
